The "Big Parade" - Transitioning to Hell

We are now too familiar with a modern usage of the term "transitioning." As it, in this case, connects us to the idea that we can craft and control our own realities, I find it appropriate to be used here to stir the mind to the consideration of the eternal fruits of our modern progressive culture.

~When we love what God hates, and hear all around us only encouragement in our sin, we should know that Hell has come to us~

 

Many perspectives have been offered about the spiritual state of the country and indeed the whole world.  

 

I have offered a summary of many things I have factored together (inexhaustively) in my article about the state of diabolical oppression which our country might be under. <Read Here>

This current article came to mind complete with the title - seldom the case. 

In Summary

 

As shocking or as terrible as it might sound, the truth is that our nation is being systematically conditioned so that it slowly and progressively begins to resemble the personality, temperament, vices, attitudes, dispositions, and beliefs of the demons and the damned.  

Demons are real.  This is what they do.

The citizens of our country are being programmed to tolerate and embrace and identify with those spiritual traits which will make it easy, and quite natural and consistent, for them to simply slide right into Hell at death, without missing a beat. 

A Perversion of the Kingdom

Our age is like a perversion of the age of the Gospel's first proclamation.  We reside now, practically speaking, in an era of diabolical evangelization.  It is a moment of an opposite catechumenate, albeit restrained.

St. Paul, at the dawn of the Kingdom of Heaven, said to the Christians in Ephesus:

"So then you are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are built into it for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit."

 

Not so today.

 

Today, in our country and throughout the world, there is an evangelical pursuit of souls by the "powers that be," to twist them to an agenda that completely removes God from the culture, unshackling it from objective moral guidance, and "freeing" people to be "who they have always dreamt to be."

 

We are being formed to be good citizens of Hell, to become fellow citizens with the damned, fitted together as members of a diabolical kingdom, one which no longer needs nor desires God and His reign in our lives.

 

This plot is playing out for all to see, relatively unimpeded by the apparent moral opposition of today's Christians.  The agenda is being aggressively driven into the minds of the majority of humanity through a whole slew of mechanisms and technologies.

 

A Steady Malformation

 

We must step back and look at the progression of events in this last century at least, if not further, which would be even more enlightening.

Our country has moved from a land of faith and family and hard work to a land steeped in materialism and individualism and passivity.

We went from being...

- a relatively Christian nation, treasuring marriage and family life, the emergence of new generations and new families, the role of men and women, of fathers and mothers...

- to a relatively secular nation, inclined to contraception and divorce, to the murder of the unborn, to celebrating "same-sex marriage" and gender dysphoria, to the mutilation of our bodies to alternate forms, to a state of social isolation and agitation, to tolerating and embracing witchcraft and Satanism, to attending "drag queen story hours" at libraries, to the annihilation of "mother" and "father," and to the inculcation of these things through the mass media, public schools, and entertainment industries.

This trend is in one direction, and only a supernatural tug can point it back in the direction of a supernatural inclination. 

 

Blues Clues and a Drag Queen & "Parade"

So if we find ourselves becoming soft to the moral evils emerging around us, tolerant of the infection of evil into the souls of those we know and love, and less disturbed by the presence of blasphemy and irreligion in the culture, know that we too have been partly converted to the Kingdom of Hell.  

When our way of life begins to be characterized by these evils, we must accept the reality that our ticket to Hell has been uploaded and is in the queue for printing.  

 

By these sins, and our acceptance of them, we send the spiritual message that we have accepted the invitation to damnation, and the diabolical hosts of the coming perdition are preparing the fire and reserving a flame for each one of us.

Satan Has a Plan

 

Satan's goal is, of course, to steal each and every human person away from proximity to Our Lord Jesus Christ, to choke off the life of grace flowing into souls, and to inundate us with the messages of the contrary kingdom - the kingdom of Satan, of the earth, and of death.

 

Satan intends to mold us after himself, and to imbue us with the same hatred for God which animates him at all times.  With the aid of a diabolical hierarchy, he seeks to seduce every man, woman, and child to take on similar personality traits to them.  

 

He seeks to stir up within us such a love for evil that we will no longer enjoy hearing about God and the good, nor hearing the praises of the Lord sung, nor the admonitions to righteousness.

"Demons are extremely unhappy spiritual persons, and they seek to both make us miserable like they are and to mold us into their own image. The demons will seek to condition us to be animated by the same vices as they are, and thus begin to act in a manner that is in accord with their own behavior." Slaying Dragons, p. 25

 

Satan Will Fight

Though we know, and must reflect often on the Truth, that Our Lord Jesus Christ has already acquired the victory, 

...we must also know and also reflect often on the Truth that the Devil will not go down without a fight.

"And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. Rejoice then, O heaven and you that dwell therein!  

But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!'" Revelation 12:11-12

Satan, one could speculate, has invested more in this previous century than he has in the whole history of the world.  

 

Perhaps that is an overstatement, but we must let the potential truth of that statement stir a certain sense of terror in our souls - a terror not to despair and doubt of God's goodness and power - but a terror that strikes our apathy, laziness, and divided heart.

What belongs to evil belongs to Satan - what belongs to holiness belongs to God.

If we want to escape this over-the-cliff train wreck to Hell, there is work we must do and, at this point, it will need to be quite heroic.

No moment can be wasted, no evil tolerated, no crack in the armor unaddressed - in our souls, in our homes, in our families, in our day-to-day living.

Hell is coming after us.  We must open all the doors that Heaven may rush in against it.  With that power, Hell, with all its fury, will have no victory over us.

Obviously there is something holding back all of this evil.  If there were not, we would have plunged into this rabid madness long ago.  

 

The attack is in full force, according to its ability, but its ability to bring about its desired end appears to be frustrated - to an extent.

Here, though, we may discuss that "restraining" force which holds back the "lawless/wicked one."  We also know that there will come a time when that restraining force will disappear and the beginning of the final end will emerge. (cf. 2 Thess. 2)

Where we are at this very moment is impossible to state.  It bears watching these days.

Let us be, therefore, watchful, for the devil prowls.

Resist him, with Truth and grace.
